Lorey L. Callihan
Lorey L. Callihan, partner, practices general tort law with a focus on automobile accident injury cases. A native of Ohio, Lorey graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree and then went on to attend the University of Akron School of Law in Akron, Ohio, where she received her J.D. in 1997. She was admitted to the South Carolina Bar that same year and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. She provided in-house counsel for a prominent local business in Greenville before relocating to Charleston in 1999. Upon moving to Charleston, Lorey practiced general civil law and real estate law. In 2000, Lorey began focusing her practice area primarily on automobile accident injury cases. Lorey is a member of the South Carolina Association for Justice, the Charleston County Bar Association, and the South Carolina Bar Association. Additionally, she has served on the board of directors for the Grateful Goldens Rescue of the Low Country since 2004.

Melissa C. Syracuse
Melissa C. Syracuse, partner, focuses on workers’ compensation. She graduated cum laude from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in financial management before receiving her law degree from the Charleston School of Law. After graduating from law school, Melissa gained extensive experience as an insurance company and employer defense attorney in the area of workers’ compensation law. Over the last three years, she has represented multiple permanently and totally disabled clients before the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Commission. Melissa is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the Injured Workers’ Advocates, and the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Educational Association.
